Beauty brands hire me to translate their science into something a customer believes.

I've done it from inside the company, on the retail floor, and on camera.

01 — The Uncommon Advantage

Most people in this job have done one part of it

Influencers don't run retail trainings. Education consultants don't always perform on camera. Product marketers have usually never touched a client's skin.

I've done all three, in that order, over sixteen years.

McKenzie Bolt Rose, Global Education Director and Esthetician
1 The Treatment Room

I learned on real skin.

Licensed since 2010, with firsthand experience of what products must deliver beyond the claims.

2 Inside the Brand

I led the education strategy.

More than a decade leading global education for Biossance and Tata Harper.

3 The Retail Floor

I learned what earns attention.

Training associates across the country's leading prestige beauty retailers.

4 On Stage

I learned how to hold a room.

Theatre-trained, with years of experience turning expertise into memorable live education.

5 On Camera

I learned to deliver the message.

Creating credible content that puts the expert directly in front of the audience.

6 At the Development Table

I connected story to product.

Working across product development and marketing—not just brand.

From Formula to Floor to Frame

I know how to turn technical truth into a story people understand—and a reason they believe.

02 — The work

Selected work

Every piece here started the same way: a brand knew something true about its product that customers weren't getting. Good science, no bridge. That's the job.

Naturium Multi-Peptide Moisturizer

Ingredient education framed for the second purchase rather than the first. What it does, how long it takes, and what to expect if you keep going.

Copper Peptide Serum

Breaking down why GHK-Cu went viral, and separating the clinical evidence from the trend.

Bon Charge Red Light Mask

What red light does beyond topical skincare, and what it actually takes to even out tone.

Nurse Jamie

An esthetician's honest take on which at-home tools are worth keeping in the routine.

Microneedling Patches

Making an intimidating-looking product feel approachable, without losing the humor.

Gutgutgoose Probiotic

Translating a crowded supplement category into what actually matters for the customer.

"Thrilled to connect you with McKenzie Bolt, truly one of the best educators and brand partners in the industry. 05 — About

I've been on every side of this problem

I started with a theatre degree, which is a strange way into skincare until you've watched someone try to explain peptides to a room of forty retail associates at 8am.

I got my esthetician license in 2010 and spent years with my hands on real skin, in spas and treatment rooms, learning what people actually ask when they're worried about their face. Then I moved inside brands. Head of Global Education at Tata Harper for six and a half years, at Biossance for seven and a half. I built the curriculum, trained the field teams, and wrote the language that retail associates used at Sephora, Ulta, Credo, Nordstrom, Saks, Bluemercury, Neiman Marcus, and Space NK.

That job was translation. Chemists and NPD teams on one side, a customer standing in a store with a specific problem on the other. My job was to get one to the other without losing what was true.

Now I do it on camera myself, instead of briefing someone else to do it.

I'm also a working parent, which is less a credential than a filter. I'm not going to recommend a routine nobody has time for, and I notice when a product actually makes a day easier. It shapes what I choose to feature more than it shapes how I talk.

06 — Process

How it works

1

Fit call

Twenty minutes on what you're launching, who's selling it, and where the customer is getting lost.

2

Scope

I come back with a recommendation and a number. Retainer, project, or a single event.

3

Build

Curriculum, content, or deck. Drafts, one structured round of feedback, delivery.

4

Field

Training delivered, content shipped, event run. Then we look at what landed and what to change.
